Experience ws great, except that the internet kept getting cut out everyday through early evening up until the next day morning. front office couldnt help as these seemed to be ISP related issues. The waiting / queue for the checkin process can be more efficient. Lots of travellers including myself had to wait for a long time to be attended to by the front office staff, not ideal after a 30 hour flight

The self parking is misleading, and I would definitely not recommend it. especially for a $70 a day charge. If your car fits down the tunnel to the parking lot. It is very confusing and it led me out of the garage after some scrapes on my vehicle. When I brought this to the attention of the parking staff, they told me all they could do was upgrade to valet at a higher fee, but did nothing to compensate for the scratches, which is surprising in this Caliber of a hotel. When I asked the hotel, they also said they didn’t handle parking that I would have to email parking directly.The customer service was mixed. I arrived and was informed I could have a rollaway bed as I checked in room the rollaway bed never arrived. When I called, they said I wasn’t able to have the rollaway bed in that room. Luckily, I was moved to a nicer room at no extra charge with the rollaway bed. when I checked out, there were charges on my bill that should’ve been taken off with the urban experience and the $15 day credit. All and all it’s a great location, comfortable wonderful restaurant at the Palm, which I look forward to every time I visit Chicago. But based on the parking and that nothing done to compensate my trouble, and time spent trying to resolve issues and problems,I will likely not stay here again.
