I stayed there for 5 nights for a family emergency. So I need to work remotely for my employer in The Netherlands. Because this trip wasn't a vacation. I love that this hotel has a nice big room, comfy beds, delicious breakfast, but most importantly, super fast fiber internet. The location is truly good, only lacking decent public transport but not a problem for me since my parents loan a car for me. It also helps that this hotel has an EV charger, since my parents loaned an EV for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there and will definitely stay there again on my next visit in Jakarta.

Swissôtel living is one of the best all round properties in Jakarta. Staff, rooms, F&B all top notch. Highly recommended.

I am writing to share some feedback regarding my recent one-night stay at your property on August 3rd-4th 2026. Functionally speaking, my stay was fine. There were no fatal operational errors, and the staff's performance was "just ok" in carrying out their basic duties. However, hospitality is not just about avoiding errors, it's about how guests are made to feel. Unfortunately, in this regard, my experience fell significantly short of the standards I expect from a luxury Accor property. During my interactions with several staff members, specifically at the reception desk and at Embers Restaurant. I experienced a distinct lack of warmth. More concerningly, their tone of voice and body language felt dismissive and condescending, making me feel as though I was being looked down upon. This uncomfortable dynamic left me with a few lingering questions: Was I treated this way because I am a local guest, rather than an expatriate like the majority of your clientele? Or was this cold demeanor because I was only there for a one-night staycation, as opposed to the months or years of residency typical of your long-stay expat guests? To put this into perspective, just last week I stayed at Pullman Jakarta Indonesia Thamrin CBD and even ibis Styles Jakarta Tanah Abang. At both of these properties, the staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and treated every guest equally, without drawing any distinction between local guests and expatriates. The stark contrast makes the lack of genuine hospitality at Swissôtel Mega Kuningan all the more disappointing. Every guest, regardless of their nationality or the duration of their stay, deserves the same level of respect, warmth, and professional courtesy. The noticeable difference in how guests are treated based on these factors creates a very unwelcoming environment at your hotel. I hope that your management team will review how the staff communicates with all guests, ensuring that the essence of hospitality is applied equally across the board. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on this matter.
it was good. the rest ember offers food promotion.
