The room had extreme fragrance it was so strong that gave me headaches and i had allergies. It should moderate or not at all as people like me has allergies and respiratory problems. It literally burned my throat and i had to take pills to sleep. I talked the receptionist about it and they said they will open the window. But when i came back to room after praying the smell was still very strong. As we came back to room late at night after praying hours we didn’t have energy to request a change for the room. And it’s probably same with every room anyways. They should be more considerate about health rather than how the room smells. Breakfast was average wasn’t up to the name of swiss compared to other swiss branches. I won’t be choosing to stay there again even though the location is good

A very comfortable stay with exceptional service, great location, and thoughtful hospitality that made a real difference for my family. I had a very positive experience at Swissotel Makkah. Upon arrival, Waleed Ali welcomed us warmly and handled our early arrival with professionalism and care. Although our room was not immediately ready, the team ensured we were comfortable, provided a temporary room, and later assisted us with a smooth transition to our suite. We were also pleasantly surprised with a complimentary dinner, which was a thoughtful and appreciated gesture. The suite was spacious and comfortable. While the view differed slightly from what was initially booked, I chose not to raise it as a concern because the team had already gone above and beyond to take care of us. Two key highlights: Very easy and quick access to Masjid Al Haram (a major advantage over nearby hotels) Large dining area with excellent food variety At checkout, Waleed Ali once again ensured everything was in order and that we had a pleasant stay. Overall, this was an excellent experience, and I will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Amazing stay, breakfast 10/10 rooms very comfortable asked for the room to be near lift they assisted us. Rooms very clean all staff very friendly

I've stayed at swissotel makkah for my hajj last year 2025, and april this year for my umrah - its excellent location which is mere walking distance to haram makes it convenient for me and my family.
