No issues with room or staff. However, meals disproportionately expense forcing us to eat elsewhere.

I arrived very late due to a delayed flight from Hong Kong. Everything was sorted and super easy. I arrived as the bar had just closed but the bar man made us our welcome drinks anyway, this was greatly appreciated. The room was spacious and comfortable.

We stayed for two nights. As a Platinum member, I was disappointed that we were unable to receive either an early check-in or a room upgrade. We did, however, receive a late check-out until 1:00 pm, which was appreciated. The lift service was a significant issue during our stay. Only two lifts were operating, and during peak periods we often waited more than five minutes, which became frustrating, especially in a busy hotel. The lounge offerings were also underwhelming. Both the breakfast and afternoon tea selections were quite limited compared with what I would expect from a hotel of this standard. On the positive side, the location is excellent. The hotel is conveniently situated next to the QVB and close to public transport, making it easy to get around the city and explore Sydney. Overall, the location was the standout feature, but the limited lounge offerings, lack of Platinum recognition, and poor lift service affected the overall experience.

The lifts was a nightmare. Did not seem like 3 lifts were working all the time. Literally 10-12 mins wait for a lift. And that's the only negative I have.

Convenient, comfortable, but spoilt by a very badly managed fire alarm late at night.
