Dear Mr. Utkan Gulacti, I recently had the pleasure of staying at Swissôtel The Bosphorus Istanbul with my wife, and I wanted to take a moment to share some feedback about our experience. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay. First and foremost, I would like to sincerely thank your front desk team. After a very long international journey, we arrived at the hotel much earlier than the official check-in time. The receptionist kindly arranged for our room to be available immediately, a gesture that made a tremendous difference after such a long trip. We know this is not always possible, and it is a level of hospitality that we genuinely appreciated and will remember. We also very much enjoyed the hotel’s location, the beautiful views of the Bosphorus, and the breakfast buffet, which offered an excellent variety and quality of food. That said, I would also like to share a few areas where I believe there is room for improvement, especially considering the high standards associated with the Swissôtel brand. Although our room was designated as non-smoking, there was a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke upon entering. This somewhat diminished the comfort of the room from the beginning of our stay. Additionally, the air conditioning did not perform as expected. During our three-night stay, we required technical assistance on two separate occasions because the room never consistently reached a comfortable temperature. Another inconvenience was that the room service menu was missing from our room. After requesting it, it took more than an hour and a half to be delivered, making the process unnecessarily inconvenient. Finally, while the breakfast itself was excellent, the service from the restaurant staff did not consistently reflect the level of attentiveness one would expect from a hotel of this caliber. A more proactive and welcoming approach from the service team would significantly enhance the overall guest experience. I am sharing these comments because I truly enjoyed many aspects of my stay and would be happy to return on future visits to Istanbul. My intention is simply to provide constructive feedback that I hope will help make an already very good hotel even better. Thank you again to you and your team for your hospitality. I genuinely hope to have the opportunity to stay at Swissôtel The Bosphorus again in the future, and I trust that these observations will be received in the constructive spirit in which they are intended. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding! Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented every morning. A special thank you to the chefs, Mehmet and Elif, for their hard work, passion, and attention to detail. They made every breakfast a wonderful experience. Their kindness and dedication truly stood out. We really appreciated their efforts and highly recommend this hotel. Thank you, Mehmet and Elif!

experience fell well short of what we would expect from a five-star hotel. Our check-in was delayed, and despite having requested a twin room, we were initially allocated a king room. We then had to wait even longer before being moved to the correct room. Unfortunately, no apology or goodwill gesture was offered to acknowledge the inconvenience. The housekeeping was also below the standard expected. The room was not cleaned adequately, and used towels were not replaced. At breakfast, the coffee was consistently only lukewarm, and we had to specifically request hot coffee each time. Having stayed at many five-star establishments, we found the overall service and attention to detail disappointing. Regrettably, this experience did not meet the standards we would expect from a hotel of this calibre.
