Location is convenient t. hop right onto the MTA and also connects with the underground malls. However, the actual feel and service of the hotel is greatly subpar. This is my first time staying at Swissotel property and I was having high expectations as it's part the Accor group. However, the feel was highly unwelcome especially with the always busy and at times, too crowded, main lobby. Once stepping foot in, no one offers t. help with your bags or direct you t. the check-in desk. The check-in desk is a large self-service kiosk with multiple computers for a DIY experience. Had difficulty checking in by myself and had t. try and flag down staff myself. Prior t. arrival, had emailed guest services and received confirmation of a rollaway bed for our room. However, when checking in the employee simply stated if it was available, they would get it for us. Waited an hour for the bed and called t. check and was told that they were busy and would get t. us when they could. Left the hotel for a few hours and still no bed was there upon our return. Called guest services again understand the situation and their response was "is this a first request?". They assured us it would be sent and again, waited for another hour without a bed. Contacted a manager who was finally able t. get the bed. Overall, would recommend the hotel only if you can get a Marina Bay view but would look elsewhere especially if competing hotel of comparable price.

We arrived before general check in time and we were fortunate enough to have room ready for our stay. The time we saved allowed us to experience and visit more places in Singapore.

From the minute I stepped in the door, the staff could not do enough for me . Truly the service was exceptional as you would expect from a luxury property but it was the personalisation of the service that was unexpected. The 65th floor lounge was a lovely oasis with magnificent views and a great breakfast and array of snacks with pre dinner drinks. The amenities ( such as pool and spa ) were well maintained and well staffed

The hotel strived to meet the needs of its visitors however: - Cleaning in the rooms did not occur often until 4.00 in the afternoon - Restuarants were limted in their food choices and very expensive and did not have GST included to the price. This AND a service charge were added afterwards. - Front of house staff were polite but not very proactive - Our room had a water leak from the room above which we notified staff about on day 2 and staff chose not to do anything or consider moving us until day 7 when we hade made 3 complaints. Not good enough. The room we were moved to was not as good as our original room and spoiled the remainder of our holiday.

Fantastic viewes, very comfortable bed and pillows. Friendly and responsive staff. Easy to self check in and check out. Very good integration with MRT and trade center down the building. Overall perception is Awesome. If I would ever return to Singapore I'd definitely choose Swiss hotel again with no doubts.
