I wanted to share my disappointment regarding our recent stay. Unfortunately, we arrived at the hotel around midnight after a long day of travel. We requested an upgrade, and while we were willing to pay the additional cost, Anthony’s attitude during the interaction was not welcoming or accommodating. For the amount we paid, we also expected a more premium room location than the 35th floor. That same night, we discovered the shower was flooding. Since it was already very late and we had plans early the next morning, we did not feel it was realistic to request maintenance at 12 AM while we were trying to rest. We ended up showering in those conditions twice before bringing the issue to management’s attention. When I explained the situation to the manager, I was told that because I did not report the issue immediately, there would be no refund for the upgrade. I felt this response lacked understanding of the circumstances. We were not trying to take advantage of the situation — we simply attempted to make the best of an inconvenient experience during a short stay. By the time we were able to properly address the matter, there was only one day remaining. I expected a much higher level of service and hospitality, especially considering the additional amount paid for the upgrade. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and reviewed appropriately.
