Stayed for a convention. Got in at midnight, when I go to my room I'm surprised there's not even one complimentary bottle of water and the smallest in the room is $6. For the price paid, at least water should be provided. The wifi speed was awful. I was there for a tech conference, and most of the time I couldn't download files, connect to my office, nor do any streaming. I would expect more from the hotel.

Came in late. Got a welcome, sort of. Not what I would expect. Room was very nice. Great view of the lake. Elevators were the worst, and peak hours it took 5+ minutes of waiting each time.

Overall, we had a good stay at Swissotel. It was a great location and great views, with a decent lobby/bar/etc. Our room was very dated compared to other hotels at the same price point that we’ve stayed at in the past year. The sink was clogged, the shower wanted to flood the room, and our bathroom door didn’t fully close. There was one single outlet for us to plug in our phones. The luggage rack was broken. We called for towels and waited about 30 minutes before we needed to leave, so we had to have them delivered later when we got back—probably a staffing issue, not their own fault. The staff was great, they are just in a very dated building.

A little hiccup at the front desk. I was booked for two nights but had called and said I would be arriving at 9am the next morning, upon arrival I was told I was a no show. I informed the front desk that I called the day before and the reservation line told me she would modify my room to be a late check in, he said only the manager can fix this, so he went and had the reservation fixed. If that is the situation, the reservation department should know so this does not occur.

Had a great view. Staff was great and helpful. Loved the Destination Elevator. Looking forward to staying there again. Thank you
