Lovely hotel - very clean and very comfortable with great views from the balconies. Decent food options with a cafe that serves excellent coffee and pastries, a several restaurants and bars, some with scenic views of Singapore With the MRT, National Gallery, Marina Bay, Gardens by the Bay, shopping centres and lots of great food close by, the hotel is perfectly located for exploring all that Singapore has to offer. I would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.

Everything was excellent. The check-in was smooth and friendly, room was beautiful and clean, the breakfast was delicious, and check-out was smooth. However, the room service experience was terrible. I ordered two bottles of beer to my room at 11 PM--tsing tao and corona--and went to take a shower. The beers had not been delivered when I came out though. I gave another call around 12 AM to check on the status, and the staff told me they were on their way right now. I was frustrated at the fact that something as simple as two bottles would take more than an hour, but accepted that they were on their way. Around 12:15 AM, however, the room service called to let me know that one of the beers was not available and I'll be getting two of the same beers. It's okay for beers to go out of stock. This happens and is understandable. What is not acceptable, however, is that it took 75 minutes to figure this out and that the staff told me earlier that the beers were already on their way. She did not indicate whether one was out of stock then. This tells me that the staff lied about the status of the order only to save face, while scrambling to dig up my order that had been forgotten. I appreciate the quality of Accor facilities and services, but this type of behavior must be gone.

My wife celebrated her 70th birthday with the family at Swissotel The Stamford and had most joyful memorable experience. The outstanding hospitality of management & staff and good quality breakfast helped a great deal in turning our stay into special time. The hotel location at Raffles City is very central close to major landmarks/attractions, public transport, restaurants, supermarkets and shopping centres all within comfortable walking distance.
