check in and check out was smooth quick and efficient. rooms were quite and well maintained. got partial haram view as upgrade.

It was great. And I’m thankful for Aber who granted us early check in. The room was partially haram view but to be fair and honest. Wasn’t the best partial.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Swissôtel Al Maqam. The biggest advantage is how close it is to Al Haram. There’s a set of lifts that takes us directly making it around 5 minutes to get to Al-Haram. Sometimes there would be a long wait for the lift though depending on the time before prayer. Generally, I don’t book my room with breakfast because it’s usually the same boring variety, but breakfast was included with my room by default. I can say that one of the highlights of my stay was definitely the breakfast. The selection was incredible, with such a huge variety of food catering to different tastes and cultures. The restaurant is very large, with several sections offering the same breakfast selection, and as it gets busier, they simply open additional sections. Even at the busiest times, I never struggled to find a table and there was always plenty of food available. I was impressed by how well organised everything was. At busy times, the restaurant was like a beehive, with staff constantly moving around, helping guests, clearing tables, and keeping everything clean and tidy. Despite the number of people, everything seemed to run very smoothly. I enjoyed my entire stay and would happily stay at Swissôtel Al Maqam again. Thanks to every staff member who contributed to making my stay very pleasant.

The sink and shower were both blocked would drain extremely slowly. This was notified to the receptionist team and I was assured this would be resolved. 6 days despite constant pestering nothing was done
