Summary of the stay: I stayed at the hotel for one night. Unfortunately, there was no luggage delivery service to the room or assistance in bringing luggage down from the rooms, allegedly due to the large number of guests. However, such a service should be available regardless of occupancy. I also did not feel that the hotel was clean. That said, the location is certainly excellent.

Last min trip so booked a day before leaving for Makkah, spoke to Swiss team on WhatsApp and let them know arrival time and to make payment before I go. Message was acknowledged and said pay on counter. Got to counter and booking cancelled, they wanted another £600 extra for same room but I couldn't check in till 3pm. (It was 9am) after showing them the WhatsApp proof they still didn't believe I let them know of my arrival time. I had a elderly parent and we were in Ihram! Realised we couldn't do anything we refreshed in the washroom and sat in reception before setting off for Umrah. Returned to Hotel for 4pm to be told I didn't have a booking and I may need to pay again. At this point I am seething at the incompetence at the staff, my room had been allocated to someone else. Another person came and miraculously he found me another room. Room has dust in all places and felt dirty but it was a quick 4 day trip so we just left it. In all the visits I have made to the clock tower hotels this is by far the worse one to be at. Would recommend booking one that's not so busy genuinely cares about who is staying with them. Raffles was amazing to stay at last year.

The hotel was brilliant. The amenities and room were clean big and comfortable. The view of masjid Al-haram and kabba were breathtaking Alhamdulillah. The only negative was the bathroom it was small especially the shower space. Overall the staff, location and experience was good.

We really liked the hotel location, the access to clock tower restaurants and proximity to Haram. Hotel breakfast was great. We felt the rooms and especially the bathrooms were a bit small, particularly the King bedrooms. Service from the front desk was sometimes non responsive or very slow during busy periods.

We have had a good experience with this hotel that's why we booked again and this time we booked for all of our family, four rooms in total, for four families from different parts of the world. One families one adult was not coming so we did inform the hotel and requested a refund to which the hotel denied. That was an unhappy thing. I wish Hotel can take care of it.
