As returning guests who have stayed at Swissôtel Al Maqam several times with our family and booked multiple rooms, we were unfortunately disappointed with this stay. We experienced issues with the water temperature and had to change rooms, which was particularly inconvenient while travelling with our baby. The room also had a humid smell, the bed felt damp, and the pillows were very thin and uncomfortable, leaving me with ongoing neck pain. My baby daughter and husband also developed fevers during/after the stay, which was understandably concerning. We were also disappointed with the buffet and ultimately stopped using it despite having paid for it. Overall, the experience was noticeably below our previous stays and the standard we have come to expect from Swissôtel almaqam Makkah.
