I stayed at Swissotel for a conference that was located at Swissotel, so the location was perfect in that aspect, but also just the location and how I was able to see so much of Chicago during my short visit. The room was clean and the view was beautiful and all of the staff that I interacted with were professional and kind. When I arrived at the hotel early, and all I was expecting was to drop off my bags while I explored the city and waited for check in time, the young lady at the desk looked to see if a room was ready for me and I was so grateful to be able to put my things down.

While historically my stays ( I attend a conference there for physician faculty educators every year ) have been wonderful , this last time I was in the bar over an hour before being offered menu or drink and Lobby bar was not crowded at all That was surprising!

Excellent view, very clean room, nice desk space to work on in my room. Good Internet service.

Would rate higher but air conditioning/heating units need to be updated. It was very hot every night despite putting the temp as low as it could go. It obviously just turns off in the middle of the night. Others in different rooms complained of the same problem.
