MOSCOW, May 2010

Business travelers and conference participants can now convene in style at the new conference centre of the five-star Swissôtel Krasnye Holmy. Moscow’s landmark hotel is located in one of the business and most upscale areas of the Russian capital.

The new convention centre is one of the most modern in the region and complements the hotel’s seven multi-functional meeting rooms and two banquet halls. The deluxe contemporary meeting facility incorporates the “Grand Ballroom” (557m2) and a range of five flexible breakout spaces, including a spacious balcony just near the main entrance and a garden nearby.

The meeting and banquet rooms were designed without pillars for unobstructed viewing and provide therefore flexibility to the format of each event. In addition, the Swissôtel conference centre offers technological advanced meeting and conference facilities for small, medium and large meetings, seminars, conferences, weddings, receptions and cocktails. The Grand Ballroom with its modern and elegant décor can accommodate up to 500 people in reception style. A car or bulky equipment can be lifted up right to the ballroom by an elevator creating a perfect opportunity for product launches and gala events in distinctive contemporary surroundings. Three of the seven elegant meeting rooms can be divided into functional areas, and the pre-function area (all together 583 m2) boasts natural daylight creating a pleasant atmosphere during the meeting or conference lunch breaks.

“Swissôtel conference centre in conjunction with the current function space will render Swissôtel Krasnye Holmy as the ideal meeting headquarter venue - whether it is an executive meeting for 15 or a gala reception for 500 people. Achieving performance above and beyond the competition – combined with our passion for perfection – is a philosophy that helps drive our business”, says Jan Chovanec, General Manager Swissôtel Krasnye Holmy.

The new Swissôtel conference centre is located right at the Garden Ring, on Kosmodamianskaya embankment and is a part of Riverside Towers, business and cultural complex just next to Swissôtel Krasnye Holmy, neighbouring Office Buildings and the House of Music.
