We had A. excellent view of Marina Bay. As a new mother with a new born, I was provided with a crib and essentials for baby. I was also able to request for storage of my BM in the hotel fridge as the minibar wasnt cold enough. The bathtub was clean and suitable for bathing baby. Only found the aircon too cold and wouldn't warm up so we had to switch it on and off to get the room to warm up.

The self-service check-in/check-out concept is very messy, despite the presence of staff on standby to provide support. Upon check-in I fully paid for the room and there was also a pre-auth of $100 on my card. However upon check-out I was told that the room was still unpaid. I had to pull-out my credit card statement to demonstrate that I had already paid, but somehow the credit card transaction referred to "Credit Department Fairmont", and the staff insisted that it's a different hotel (which is correct, but then as far as I was concerned I had already been charged for the room). I had to escalate the issue, and eventually they agreed that I was correct. This level of confusion and incompetence also implies that the "Express Checkout" system is too risky for your customers. If I had just dropped my room card in the Express Checkout box, I would have probably been charged for the room again.

We stayed for the F1 and the location was perfect. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Room was nice and clean and had everything we needed. Loved the proximity to the shopping centre and MRT. Would love to stay again.
