Extremely disappointing. Came to Osaka after a good holiday in IHG Ana Intercontinental in Tokyo, Swissotel isn't a 5 star hotel. Poor reception from start by a north Indian guy, rooms are too old, toilet stank. Will never book Accor Hotels again.

The hotel is in a great location, very close to all the major attractions in the area. However, the bathroom water pressure is well below what you would expect from a five‑star property. The shower is particularly weak, which makes the experience quite unenjoyable. The morning breakfast is overcrowded, and the food variety is not on par with other five‑star hotels we’ve stayed at. Additionally, the floor staff were not proactive in clearing empty plates and cups, which affected the overall dining experience.

2025 December 27 to 2026 January 2. Holiday vacation to see sights and to shop. Hotel is atop the Namba train station and a short walk to the Dotonbori shopping corridor. It met all of our tourist needs. Hotel rooms were clean, modern, contemporary furnished, and accessible to restaurants (including their own). Staff was professional, friendly and polite. Would repeat.
