The review I wrote is already well under the 8,000-character limit, but if you’d like something a little sharper and more impactful: Review Title: Families Beware of the Pool Restrictions Review: We booked this hotel specifically because it had a pool, which was a major priority for our family while travelling through Japan in warm weather. Unfortunately, it wasn’t until after we arrived, checked in, and unpacked that we were informed children under six years old are not permitted to use the pool. This restriction was never clearly communicated during the booking process and came as a complete surprise. Had we been aware of this policy beforehand, we would have chosen alternative accommodation. Access to a pool was one of the main reasons we selected this hotel. While the staff were courteous and attempted to assist after we raised our concerns, it did not change the fact that one of the hotel’s key advertised facilities was unavailable to our family. The location is excellent, but we strongly believe this policy should be clearly disclosed before booking so families with young children can make an informed decision. This was a significant disappointment and impacted our overall experience.

The check-in process was great. Adhi, the front desk agent, acknowledge my Accor+ membership and confirmed my eligibility to a room upgrade. He also taking the time to give recommendation for sightseeing spots when I told him my travel plan. Overall, very helpful and made a very smooth check-in. My compliment to Swissotel for employing such a great staff. It really set the tone for my whole stay.

Well maintained hotel. Polite staff. Standard rooms on executive floor are too small for the price paid, and disappointing that en-suite bathroom is also small with a shower in the bath, instead of a separate shower cubicle.

Had a truly enjoyable repeat stay. Hope the bathroom can be upgraded as the hot & cold water mixer for the bathtub could do with an upgrade. Housekeeping did an excellent job ensuring everything was clean and tidy.
