We were able to upgrade to the Junior suite kabba view although it was very limited , also were able to get late check out on a Thursday,thank you front desk manager .

We are so honoured by staying with Swissotel Makkah second time in 3 years. Although the Quad room for 4 family members including a special needs child were not spacious enough (we have been told to pay premium for upgrade to Junior suite) but the extent of hospitality offered by notably by Mr. Wahid (front line manager), Mr. Shakeel and Mr, Saleem with dining service were outstanding and remarkable. They ensured our stay be as much comfortable as possible and we are thanful they of them to make our stay comfortable and memorable.

While the hotel is located in a great location with a unique option of lifts landing at ground Haram level as well as shuttle lifts, there are a few things that let this hotel down. We had two triple Kaabah rooms and whilst the front desk was very helpful to try and get us connected rooms with a wait, the delay was far longer than the 4 pm check-in time. Furthermore, although the room is nice, it seems very crammed for the price with a very cozy bathroom that is in need of refurbishment. Shower is very small and leaks water from the door seals to the floor. Lastly, The Choices of food in the buffet are very limited, repetitive and boring, despite there being a huge restaurant and food presentation area. And busy times the omelette station is always very slow with queues.

Amazing Stay. The room was spacious enough for 4 people. But it didnt leave much space for any luggage for 4 people. Located in Clock tower so very easy to commute to haram aswell. I would appreciate if there was some direction as to how does one go to the Food court floor at the mall directly rather than going up and down constantly. You need thicker comforters. All of them were completely flat.
