Sadly, I was in Izmir for the first time on a three-day work trip. Swisshotel was conveniently located and looked nice. It was much nicer than the photos! Room was very comfortable. Staff was great. Food was excellent!

I made a non-refundable 3-night reservation at Swissôtel Büyük Efes Izmir with the code PPNLGRKG. Afterwards, I needed to check into the hotel one day earlier. My All Accor membership directed me to the hotel. I called the hotel, but they told me that they cannot change reservations made through All Accor and asked me to make a separate booking for the extra night. So I made the reservation with the code PPQLFGLL, which made it a total of 4 nights. Later, I made a reservation with the code PQGLCMGN for my friend, and afterwards I needed to change this room from single to double. The reception immediately made the change and increased the price considerably. Yesterday, my work plans changed, and I politely asked the reception if they could waive the charge for the last night in case I checked out one day earlier, meaning today. The reception told me that since I made the reservation through All Accor, it was impossible to make such a change, and they even said, word for word, that with All Accor reservations it is not even allowed to add a guest to the room. However, just the day before, they added a guest to my friend’s room, and it turned out to be quite expensive. They insisted that I should contact All Accor, saying they had no authority, but the All Accor app directs the email contact back to the hotel. I spoke with the reservations department 3–4 times and kindly asked for their support. I personally stayed for 3 nights, and my friend stayed for 1 night, so I believe I have already contributed enough revenue to the hotel and they could have refunded one night. Moreover, they provide no support at all for All Accor reservations and always shift the responsibility back to All Accor. My main complaint is that this hotel, despite being an All Accor member, does not provide full support for reservations made through All Accor. If I am going to experience problems with All Accor, then there is no point in being an All Accor member.

You should improve the personal care supplies in the bathroom. The selection is very limited and doesn't suit a Swiss hotel. Shampoo quality is very low.
