Service was very bad. From check in to breakfast to check out. Rooms very dated, bed very uncomfortable. Check in and check out process very long and unfriendly.

It is entirely up to you whether to publish this, but I feel it is important to leave an accurate account of my stay. I was informed that the room I had originally booked had been upgraded to a suite; however, I was not told that the suite was a smoking room. I was, frankly, not aware that smoking rooms were still part of the room inventory, and this should have been disclosed clearly at the time of the upgrade. In addition, the lighting automation in the room was highly erratic, with the lights switching on and off at random. Technical service attended the room three times, yet the issue remained unresolved. At approximately 11:00 pm, we were ultimately moved to another room. Although this replacement room was described as being of a higher category, it was noticeably smaller, and the bed was exceptionally uncomfortable. I had previously stayed at Swissôtel İzmir, and the quality of the bedding there was one of the principal reasons I chose Swissôtel Istanbul for this visit. For that reason, this aspect of the experience was particularly disappointing. A final issue concerned billing. I had specifically requested that the spa and dining charges be invoiced separately, and I was assured at reception that this would be taken care of. I was therefore quite surprised to see that the electronic invoice was issued as a single comprehensive bill covering all of my expenses at the hotel. Overall, the stay fell well short of the standard I had expected from the Swissôtel brand.

as always , great in every sense. sometimes we can't stay with you because of your minimum stay limitations. please change as we like to stay with you whenever we are in Istanbul.
