We stayed at the Istanbul Swiss The Bosphorus Hotel for 3 nights, and during that time we went to Madu's Hindi restaurant for the first time, as we had no prior experience with this cuisine. Initially, the waiter asked if we had any allergies, and I told him I was allergic to coriander (clientro). We placed our starters, but after taking just one bite, I realized the dish contained coriander. I informed the waiter, who went to the kitchen and then came back, and another person came to ask about it. Despite this, they explained it to me and left. I didn't eat another bite, but I did drink a glass of wine, asked for the bill, paid, and left. Despite telling them I had an allergy, they served me the food even though they knew it contained that ingredient, and charged me even though I couldn't eat it. I had to go back to my room, take my medicine, and go to bed because that one bite at the beginning was enough to trigger my allergy, and I was affected all night and my next day

From our pretrip communication, to our arrival, to our stay and our departure, Swissotel took care of us in every way. The consierge team worked with us prior to our stay to set up an airport meet and greet (proved to be indispensable for non Turkish speaking tourist for our first visit) and transfers. They assisted us in tracking and retrieving our lost luggage. The staff pampered us every step of the way. We felt very safe and secure with the hotel security team. Our meals in the restraurant and room service were superb. The hotel was in an ideal location to stay prior to our cruise departure. I would choose this hotel and the brand if available for any stay if available.

Great hotel in an excellent location with very clean and well-maintained rooms. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and the staff are professional and friendly. A special thanks to Ms. Melek Gunduz for her outstanding hospitality and attention to detail—she truly made the experience exceptional. The breakfast area was definitely a highlight, with a relaxing environment and a well-managed team. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and professional. The location of the hotel is perfect and very convenient. I would also like to give special appreciation to the lounge on the 17th floor, where the staff are always welcoming, professional, and make every guest feel satisfied and comfortable. Especially Mr. Ali, who treats all guests with outstanding professionalism, special attention, and genuine friendliness. He is truly number one at his job. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to everyone and I will definitely come back again.

All good, however we were disappointed because we couldn’t use many of the facilities taken/reserved by large groups. I think the hotel is more of a convention hotel with large meetings than a luxury vacation hotel.
