We stayed 3 nights in the Bosphorus view club room. From the check in to the check out as good as it should be, even a late request to hold on to the room for another 3 hrs due to flight delay was implemented without any fuss or request for additional payment - very classy. The rest of the stay was just as good from the house keeping chap who was measured pleasant to deal with & was obviously doing a job way below his ability, to the gentlemen that brought requested additional pillows one late evening, who could not do enough for us proactively brought us additional water & we had an interesting chat. Believe his name was Ozgur & he deserves a mention in despatches!. There were also the staff at the 'Club'. Great service (& I mean really really good) from all the staff. Nothing was too difficult ( even the self entitled 'mongrel' customers) every drink was delivered some without having to wait, once they got to know our habits. Again names to mention; Oznur (a supervisor I believe) Huseyin, Hotil, Ali & Beryer. These are just a few names I can recall but every one without exception was 'top notch'. The above is my honest experienced account having too many years staying in hotels This one in this class is as good as a reasonable traveller can be more than satisfied. Christopher K.

We stayed at the Istanbul Swiss The Bosphorus Hotel for 3 nights, and during that time we went to Madu's Hindi restaurant for the first time, as we had no prior experience with this cuisine. Initially, the waiter asked if we had any allergies, and I told him I was allergic to coriander (clientro). We placed our starters, but after taking just one bite, I realized the dish contained coriander. I informed the waiter, who went to the kitchen and then came back, and another person came to ask about it. Despite this, they explained it to me and left. I didn't eat another bite, but I did drink a glass of wine, asked for the bill, paid, and left. Despite telling them I had an allergy, they served me the food even though they knew it contained that ingredient, and charged me even though I couldn't eat it. I had to go back to my room, take my medicine, and go to bed because that one bite at the beginning was enough to trigger my allergy, and I was affected all night and my next day
