Check-in was fast and I was allocated room 1424, a nice corner room that was large and clean enough. Breakfast was included and in the afternoon I visited the Club Lounge. The staff was amazing and every request was met quickly. Half way trough my stay, I was transfered to room 1022 because of “planned maintenance” on the 14th floor and although the size of the room was the same, the state of the room wasn’t. This room was worn out with cracked tiles in the bathroom and not a good view. But this downgrade only lasted two nights, because I was moved again to the apartments and apartment 1452 has a view again and a living as well. I think I can feel at home during the remaining nights of my stay.

I had an amazing experience at Swissôtel. The person named Damien was amazing; he upgraded us to a suite and also decorated the room for us as we were on our honeymoon. Great hospitality, and the location was prime as well. It was perfect.

Despite the reason we stayed (cancelled flight) we enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and professional, and made us feel welcome. It is nicely located next to Al Ghurair mall which is very convenient for shopping or dining. The only small point of critique is please ask your reception staff to be mindful of people jumping the queue. It’s quite annoying when people sneak up and take a place when you’ve been waiting for a while.

I had a great time at the hotel. From the moment I checked in I was well received at the entrance and welcomed by the reception staff. I was assigned a room with a great view of the locality which I appreciated. The staff was friendly and I was always treated with respect and a smile whenever I interacted with them. The hotel is well located with close proximity to various means of transportation to get around like the metro. Aside from that, the general area was vibrant with a lot of places to explore and eat out. I happened to be there when the Iranian tensions started and this leads to the only gripe I had with my stay. With the government directive of paying for tourist guests during this time I was granted an extra night of stay which I thought was based on approvals but then a day later after I had checked out I was informed that I needed to pay due to no government approvals. So what if I had stayed more days - the bill would have been over my budget. I let my booking agency handle that issue but it was a sore spot on an otherwise fantastic stay. I would have given my review a 10 and publicized it if not for that.

Staff was extremely courteous, friendly and helpful.
