The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay at this beautiful hotel next time in Istanbul

This is a nice hotel with an impressive location overlooking the Bosphorous. The view from the suite with floor-to-ceiling windows that we stayed in was one of if not the best we have ever had from a hotel room. We also found a nice welcome amenity upon arriving in our room. On the other hand, check in was a bit disorganized (we had to wait for a bit), and of real note is that the representative tried to indicate that our bill would be over twice what it was supposed to be (and it took multiple rounds of pointing out the discrepancy to get it straightened out). And, the suite itself definitely had some oddities in it. The light and curtain switches took a lot of experimentation to get functioning; there were soap dispensers in the shower, but only soap near one of the sinks (not both), and the bathtub--again with a great view--had only a lotion receptacle next to it. (You had to find something to put soap and shampoo, etc., in, get it from the shower, then bring it over to the tub . . . ) Similarly, the outdoor pool was very nice, but the service at the drinks bar there was rough. The executive lounge was very nice and the food tasty (and again had a great view), but trying to get served a beverage before one finished eating was tough. Perhaps most unfortunate was that upon check out I was again presented a final bill with the wrong amount, and some amount of discussion ensued. Once the manager was called, however, he took care of the discrepancy. I should add, everyone was really nice when discussing the issue, but having to point out that the bill is wrong multiple times is awkward.

The Swissotel The Bosphorus maybe as busy as the The Bosphorus itself - yet welcomes its guests with characteristic efficiency and kindness.

Non stop issues with AC, had to call at 2:30 in the morning, had to have someone in our room multiple times, had to change rooms multiple times. Asked for a manager multiple times, kept given different answers. We can't repair it called a 3rd party, or its controlled by our control room temp was 27, our oldest son got very sick! We were given a uncomfortable vibe when checking in, when our special needs son sat on the floor. Last day- I looked for a manager his name was Gorkem Kucukcavdar, he actually took the time to listen and understand what the issue was, unfortunately we were checking out.
