Well located. Friendly staff. Comfy beds. Our most recent Accor stay 2 weeks ago we received a free bottle of wine, a chocolate bar this time. Just wondering why the difference when the price to stay was the same. Also nobody alerted us to the fact that we were entitled to 2 free drinks. We saw that after our stay. Apart from that all was good.

Trip started with the drama of offloading into the lower foyer from a street that has no loading zone. From there the stay just wasn't up to the standard of what you expect from a 5 star hotel. Lifts not working also created massive backlogs of people - both ways, with multiple attempts required to get up or down consistently over the weekend. Room was below average, even though there has obviously been a renovation. A lack of thought into simple things like powerpoints (which the bedside chargers didnt work anyway) for Macbooks - they dont fit the desk points. 2 free waters is about it in terms of whats included... no espresso machine - pretty standard these days, gym was closed Sunday for "renovations" even though on Saturday it looked perfectly fine, and the buffet breakfast was also "meh" - I have definitely had way better - more reminiscent of a Qantas club quality than anything. Overall, I would def not stay here again and for the money would def recommend other hotels at similar price points.
