Kinda expected the hotel to be nice and clean but wasn’t up to our expectations. But i do want to thank the housekeeping lady i think her name was Bee Lan. She was such a sweetheart. So patient and arranged our room nicely each time. Hope she gets appreciated for her amazing service.

I am writing to share constructive yet serious feedback regarding the room categorization at Swissôtel The Stamford. During my stay, I paid a premium for a "Marina Bay View" room, but the actual experience was deeply disappointing and felt unfair. To see Marina Bay, I had to physically walk out onto the balcony and lean over. From inside the room, the bay was not visible at all. A view that requires a guest to lean off a balcony to see a landmark simply does not deserve to be sold as a "Marina Bay View." Nowhere on your official booking website does it disclose that certain "Marina Bay View" rooms only offer a view when stepping outside and leaning off the balcony. Ironically, if I had booked a standard City View room and discovered a glimpse of the bay by leaning out, I would have been pleasantly surprised. However, paying extra for a Bay View and receiving this setup felt completely unreasonable. I strongly suggest a policy change regarding how rooms are classified: True Bay View Standard: A room should only be sold as a "Marina Bay View" if at least 25% (a quarter) of the bay is clearly visible from inside the room without leaning over or stepping onto the balcony. Transparent Information: Rooms with balcony-only views should be reclassified as "City View" or clearly labeled as "Partial Balcony View" on the website. I hope Swissôtel considers this feedback to ensure accurate expectations and transparency for future guests, so others do not pay extra for a view they cannot enjoy from inside their room.

The hotel’s location is convenient; it’s just a short walk from the front of the hotel to Raffles City Building, where exit A leads to met city hall station. Connecting to other lines, including to Changi Airport

All good, mainly because we were on executive floor. We've stayed at The Stamford many times and I have the same complaint - 5 star hotel, in terms of rooms & service, but with a 2 star lobby. I like a grand, relaxing lobby and this hotel doesn't have anything near that.
