Fuss free check-in and check-out - used the pre-check-in and checkout facilities. Hotel was full, so was pleasantly surprised when we were upgraded to a suite. Room was nicely appointed with a good view. Wife was thrilled with the coffee machine. Had a restful sleep. Recommended!

Excellent stay. Very much in line with the brand internationally. I’ve stayed at others over the world. Service was impeccable including our request for late checkout, albeit it came with a charge but that was to be expected as it was behind 2pm. Nothing was too much. Hotel itself is big and connects to a shopping centre and the pools are shared with the fairmont. No issues with using the same with towel and sun loungers provided. This was a highlight for both my children.

I stayed at Swissôtel The Stamford from 31 August – 1 September to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and I am truly grateful for the excellent service we received. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed at the 65th lounge. Later that day, I needed to pick up my baby’s toys from Marina Square, and a concierge staff member named Gilbert went above and beyond to help. He personally walked us all the way from the hotel to Marina Square (a five-minute walk), making sure we found the place without any confusion. His thoughtfulness and initiative left a very strong impression — he is truly one of the best. On 1 September, after checking out and moving to Fairmont Singapore (where we stayed from 1–2 September), we realized that we had accidentally left behind our baby’s toy at Swissôtel. We immediately returned to check with the lost & found, and a staff member named Chewon assisted us with great care and attention. Thanks to her, the process was smooth, and my wife was extremely happy that everything worked out well. Both Gilbert and Chewon made our experience at Swissôtel memorable, and we deeply appreciate their outstanding service. In contrast, our experience at Fairmont Singapore was disappointing. On 2 September at 00:42 SGT, I called from room 1929 to the operator/front office, asking for urgent help to check with Swissôtel regarding the missing toy — a Little Tikes Story Dream Machine projector, which is very important to our baby. Unfortunately, the staff member I spoke with was unhelpful and dismissive. He simply told me that all housekeepers had stopped working and asked me to come back at 7am the next morning. Since my flight was at 11:45am that same day, I needed immediate assistance. Because of the rude and unhelpful response, I had no choice but to walk with my wife and our sleeping baby back to Swissôtel around 1:10am to ask the front desk directly. Thankfully, we met Chewon, who once again went out of her way to assist us with kindness and professionalism. Her support turned a stressful situation into a much better experience. Overall, while Swissôtel staff like Gilbert and Chewon made our stay truly wonderful and stress-free, my experience with the Fairmont call operator guy was frustrating and disappointing, especially given the urgency of the situation and the importance of the missing item for my family.
