My overall experience at Swissôtel Singapore was disappointing, owing chiefly to the property's inflexibility once payment had been secured. When booking, I mistakenly set my check-in two days too early, having miscalculated the multi-day journey from Montreal. I notified the hotel immediately and supplied proof of my flight itinerary as requested. Their only proposed remedy was a credit toward a future stay, covering the unused nights. This held no value for me: the trip was a one-time visit for the ASCO Breakthrough Conference, and my institution funded only the conference dates, leaving the surrounding nights as a personal expense. As no workable solution emerged, I rebooked my flights to arrive earlier, so the prepaid nights would not be wasted. The hotel also assured me it would accommodate my 6 a.m. arrival, after roughly 24 hours of continuous travel, and would attempt to ready my room early. On arrival, however, that "accommodation" amounted to an offer to purchase a room upgrade, which I accepted only because I was too exhausted to decline and wanted to get sleep. To be fair, the stay itself was pleasant. The breakfast was varied and well presented, and the staff were consistently kind and welcoming. Still, the core issue stands. At this price point, I expected genuine flexibility and goodwill, particularly following a good-faith error reported well in advance. Instead, once my payment had cleared, every accommodation became a sales opportunity. That is what left me dissatisfied.

We couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The thoughtful surprise setup by the front office team exceeded our expectations, and every part of our stay was seamless from check-in to check-out. Combined with the breathtaking skyline view, it made our celebration truly magical. Thank you for making such an important milestone so special—we’ll always cherish the memories and look forward to staying again. ❤️

Decent stay at this 5 star hotel for 2 nights. Facilities was okay, normal swimming pool area, which includes a shallower pool for kids. No water slides at the pool though. The most disappointing part of the stay was the top up for the theme room but was only given the decorations placed on the bed, instead of having it set up on the room by the hotel. Not worth the top up of about S$200 per night.
