Overcrowded. Breakfast was an unpleasant zoo. Terrible bedroom design, two people constantly in each others way. Location in the middle of a vast shopping complex so not easy/pleasant to leave/enter hotel. Will never use again

Stayed for 2 nights on our way to the F1 race, this hotel is perfectly located for going to different cities or transiting within Osaka. Most of the major sites are easily walkable from here and the rooms are very nice. Western style rooms with big beds. Perfect for a couple travelling together. I would not hesitate to book this hotel again returning to Osaka.

Enjoyed our stay, big enough room and bed, clean and comfortable with excellent location. Enjoyed the Japanese teppanyaki and curated meals too, kind enough to let us share a set as it would have been too much for 2 seniors to have a set each.

Our stay at Swissotel Nankai Osaka was very disappointing and far below expectations for a 5-star hotel. As Accor Diamond members, we expected at least a basic level of recognition and support, but none was provided. There was no sense of priority, care, or professionalism that usually comes with this status. Several situations during our stay were simply unacceptable. Housekeeping handled our personal items inappropriately - our toothbrush was taken from the cup and placed bristles-down directly on the counter. This is both unhygienic and an unnecessary interference with guests’ personal belongings. Additionally, despite our request, the bed linen was not changed, which should be a basic standard in a hotel of this category. Overall, the hotel does not meet the expectations of a 5-star property. In our opinion, it feels closer to a 3-4 star standard, especially compared to the typically high level of service in Japan. We would not choose to stay here again.

It was centrally located and fast check in
