Amazing luxury hotel in the heart of Istanbul with super friendly kind staff. We enjoyed the restaurants at the hotel especially Madhu was our favorite. SPA area is super elegant and joyful. Our room and the hotel in general was spotless.

Unfortunately, I had meniscus tear during my trip to Istanbul, with help and care of my special needs from Swissotel Bosphorus staff, I was back on my feet in a couple days. I owe them big hug and thanks for feeling that I can rely on them in this kind of circumstances.

This is mine and my wife second stay in Swissotel The Bosphorus. During the stay everything went exactly according to expectation for benefits suitable for ALL Platinum member: Suite Night upgrade for 2 nights to Jacuzzi Suite, access to Lounge, excellent customer service (Thanks a lot to Roman!). The only problem we get was after the stay when Swissotel refused to credit my ALL account with ALL points for amount I paid for the reservation - EUR535.81 motivating to artificial "non-eligibility" of the rate to condition of ALL points accrual. This very negatively has spoiled overall excellent impression from the stay itself. I had to spend excessive time contacting ALL customer service and spending extra money for international calls to get this misunderstanding overcome to make sure my ALL Platinum benefits provided in full as per ALL program conditions.

First I do want to thank Gorkem Kucukcavdar for being proactive to make arrangements that I would like this trip and coordinating with me while I were still in Paris. That phone call is very valuable - The maintenance issues had nothing to do with him. I have travelled enough to be able make distinction. Also, I had security issues on my last stay and now I had issues with the room ( I’m still recovering from my cold) - both were easily preventable and both could have turned out more serious . I now have a sense that you have an operational management and leadership problem in this hotel. Negligence and lack of ownership becoming a trend. The team on the 17th floor is the reason so far I keep giving another chance and coming back to the hotel.

I love this hotel so much, for two major reasons, the location and staff. This time I noticed a huge budget cut in all areas, room amenties, welcome fruit plate , night turn bed, and at the executive lounge the food quality and variety is bad, before last year it was better, also new year’s buffet is not like it used to be !! The cost of the stay isn’t little it’s increasing every year, but the budget cut is very clear. All the staff from top to bottom are very good and doing their best. I hope next time I come things will be better.
