I stayed in an Executive Lounge Room with a view of Marina Bay Sands. The room and view were perfect. However, I wish I hadn’t paid the extra dollars for the lounge. Firstly, we arrived in time for evening drinks. There were limited seating options with those with a view taken. As we had just arrived I wasn’t sure what I expect for the food. It was limited selection with strange choices. As the stay went on I became to realise that it was just leftovers from the buffet downstairs re-fried or turned into something else. This was extremely disappointing as I was anticipating food that fresh and something that was offered to truly value those paying extra for the lounge. With regard to the drinks selection, we found one type of white wine was offered. So we instead would have a gin and tonic, which was ok as a sacrifice, however not good enough for the money being spent. For breakfast, it was average at best. The food was often cold and swimming in fat. When we checked in, we weren’t told that we could explore the other cafes for breakfast instead of needing to visit the lounge. This was disappointing. My final disappointment was with the lounge for New Years Eve. Having spent a significant amount of money for a room at this hotel for New Years ($2300), I was annoyed that at no point were we told the lounge wasn’t free to watch the fireworks instead it was holding a ticketed function. Given the amount we spent on the hotel with the lounge, I would expect my room fee would include a ticket to this function or at least to be informed ahead of the evening that it was ticketed only. Overall, you are paying for the view. I would recommend if you wanted the lounge experience stay elsewhere.

My kid loves the kids slipper and the bathrobe, too bad no bath-bomb for the bathtub as we forgot to buy it in the mall. She feels special as you gave her some coloring materials. She loves the pool too. The staffs are all nice.

The stay was very comfortable and the family loves it. The only thing that was disappointing is that we requested to extend the stay on a promo seen on the Accor app, however when I tried to extend the stay, the promo rate had just expired and the staff at Swissotel could not extend the promo rate.
