The hotel's location was great and made getting around very convenient. However, our Marina Bay View room was assigned on a lower floor than expected, which was a bit disappointing. Upon arrival at the lobby, there was no guidance to the dedicated check-in counter for Platinum members. I had to request it myself to check in at the 65th-floor lounge. During this process, the staff member actually mentioned that checking in at the lounge would take longer. At other Accor properties, I’ve always been warmly welcomed and guided to elite check-in areas without having to ask, but I didn't feel that level of hospitality here at all. It felt like I had to pull teeth just to check in on the 65th floor, and the overall service didn't feel particularly warm or friendly. On a positive note, I really appreciated that they accommodated our family across both rooms to use the lounge on the first day as a Platinum benefit. For breakfast, we tried CLOVE on the first day and Asian Market Café on the second. I would definitely give higher points to Asian Market Café. At CLOVE, the chef at the egg station kept their head down focusing only on cooking, completely ignoring waiting guests—I stood there for several minutes without even having my order taken. The vegetables at the salad bar were also far from fresh, so I had to skip the salad entirely, which I usually enjoy. In contrast, the egg station chef at Asian Market Café was exceptionally friendly. The table spacing was roomier, and the staff were warm and attentive, making for a much more comfortable dining experience. We also used our welcome drink vouchers at SKAI. The cocktail was great, the views were absolutely breathtaking, and the service was so wonderful that it ended up being one of the most memorable parts of our stay. As for the room, we stayed in a Signature Suite. The bed was remarkably plush and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The only downside was the somewhat awkward layout for doing hair/makeup. Having the hairdryer placed right in the middle of the living room felt a bit unusual and inconvenient for daily flow.
