Hotel staff provided exceptional service and the facilities were outstanding

The hotel is usually great. This time, the room was close to the elevator and swimming pool, noisy for a business traveller on short stays. Also, the TV did not work and there was no in room dining tent card to scan menus leading to delays in ordering food. Disappointing stay.

We stayed here for three nights with our 14 year old grandson as part of a stop over on our way to London. From the moment we alighted from the taxi, we felt welcomed and cared for. As our flight out of Singapore was late at night, we were given a late checkout and upgraded to a room with an amazing view over the Marina Bay. We enjoyed the night time light shows on the Marina Bay from the comfort of our balcony on the 55th floor. The room was clean, nicely and comfortably furnished with everything that we needed. Staff were friendly, approachable and professional. Concierge was approached on a number of occasions and went out of their way to help us with our requests and provide us with advice. We made use of the swimming pool and liked the fact that there were nearby bus stops and an MRT (train station) below. The hotel is well located and within walking distance of many of the major tourist destinations in Singapore. A large shopping mall is part of the same complex, with an indoor food market within 5-10 mins walk. The hotel also has a number of restaurants. We enjoyed a daily breakfast that provided a variety of foods to cater for the many different cultures of people who stayed there. We cannot wait to return to this beautiful hotel.

Checking in was smooth. Had a room upgrade. Only downside was that the bathtub and shower in one. A little difficult to climb in and out as as this age, a little afraid of falling. Nonetheless, we got a few more floor mat to the area and go really slow. Only disappointment is that there is no complimentary parking when checking in and told to call from room to get information. And when in the room calling to check, was informed that 1st 2 hours was $2.60 and subsequent 15 mins was 65 cents. And after midnight was $3.25. We checked in at about 3.30 pm and went out for a while and back about 9.30 pm. Since was told that after midnight (after midnight - Monday) was $3.25 per entrance we drove in. We were just thinking whether to just vallet park at $35 but since we were going out next morning. Was not so cost effective. But when we went out next morning at 7.45 am we were charged $24+. Thus I felt not the correct information transmitted to us. Prior to this we have been staying at Sofitel Sentosa, Pullman at Hill Street all with free parking for guests. Suggestions - perhaps have a nominal fee for in house guests on daily stay basis e.g. $20 per day vs Vallet parking at $35 but with limited lots available . Thank you so much. When we next come back for our next stay we really have to plan where we should park rather than having a shocking parking fee to pay.

The hotel has a great location and the rooms are perfectly equipped. Staff was incredibly nice and included breakfast is just fantastic. Landed in Singapore very early and staff still did manage to find me a room (even though at a cost).
