Check-in was great. The room was ready earlier than planned. Nice, clean and well maintained room and facilities. Great house keeping especially the Thai lady who looked after our room.

Good location, courteous staff. Only inconvenience is the double lift access but u understand emerges keeps the lobby as private area to hotel guests only.

I have stayed at the hotel afew times and somehow this time was my best visit. The reception was excellent (not like before!). There was a particular man who was so helpful and good as my room wasn’t ready and no one had called me. I didn’t catch his name but he was professional and clearly had experience (I believe probably Swiss trained?). I had a problem with my paid upgraded room and needed to come back down (the man was busy) but another called guest relations and she as wonderful! The room I got with the balcony had NO bath and the room smelled of incense or sandalwood? Some smell which being an asthmatic wasn’t liking. The guest relations lady Meenu? Was very professional and immediately got me another room and went to investigate my complaint. I did stay at the Sheraton on my last visit to Sydney because my last experience at your hotel wasn’t great. But I decided to give it another go and I wasn’t disappointed. Something has clearly changed since my last visit and it’s for the better. Hope to be back soon!

Birthday card and slice of cake was a good start to the evening. It was only after we returned from dinner that we discovered all the negatives - The bathroom had mould and on closer inspection other parts of the main room had not been properly cleaned. We were given a room with One chair and One bedside table when there were 2 of us. It was meant to be my birthday celebration and I found myself having to complain. Not what one goes to a hotel to do. Even my local Motel can provide 2 bedside tables. I called the internal number at 7.30 am the next morning and no one answered. I tried a few of the other numbers on the internal phone and still no one answered. Then finally I tried ringing the hotel as an outside call. It was answered. We were provided with an apology and another room - much better. After that we felt more comfortable and enjoyed the rest of our stay. This still leaves me concerned about your general level of service for future bookings as an ACCOR member.
