Waited for nearly 20 mins to get down to lobby and then was woken up by people getting in / out of lifts

Lovely, most the hotel staff very helpful. The elevators are a big problem that no doubt you've heard feedback on. We stayed in January so surprised it hasn't been resolved 3 months later. Ideally during rush hours staff are assisting with additional use of the service elevator. Based on the lifts, I can't recommend Swissotel until they're fixed.

From the executive lounge to the bar and the pool area, it is amazing

Overall, my stay at your hotel was a pleasant surprise. I find the majority of Accor properties very underwhelming. I do have some feedback which I provide in good faith. I absolutely intend on returning to this hotel in the future, and look forward to it. Room was comfortable, shower had great water pressure. Comfortable bed and bedding, working air-con, and no triple sheeting (one of my pet hates). Service at Arches bar was quite good and the cocktails were excellent, albeit some being unavailable - missing ingredients. The food from Ten Stories was exceptional - which really was the saving grace in on this evening, along with the service from the adjacent bar. Having said that, the evening was let down by the disjointed service in the restaurant. Entrees took over 45 minutes to arrive, and two were missing. A drinks order was missing one drink, and on reflection, we did not receive the side of mashed potato we ordered.Of hreater There was no visible signs that the restaurant was that busy and there was no information from staff about longer than expected wait times. I can appreciate that perhaps room service may have been putting a strain on the kitchen, or perhaps short staffing. Once I asked for an update, staff did offer us some free chips and later that evening, a free round of drinks. This was of course appreciated. Our drinks order was also quickly rectified. I did very much appreciate the gesture. Of greater concern to me, was that services billed to my room were charged prior to my review, only a couple of days into my stay (rather than at the end, upon check out). I generally use a different card to pay, to avoid unnecessary fees. This option was taken away from me - I have not experienced this before. Similarly, my card was charge $50 around day three of my stay, which was later explained to me as being a pre-authorisation. My card was already pre-authorised on check-in - the idea that the hotel was helping itself to my credit card was alarming to me. Communication is key - if a further authorisation is required, that is no issue, although it probably best to communicate with the guest prior to charging their card. I do not usually go into such detail, although I did really appreciate my stay here and I found the staff very welcoming and accommodating. The standard at your hotel far exceeds what I have experienced and various Pullmans, Sofitels etc. Thank You
