I’ve particularly booked the Swiss Executive King Room for this stay from after my long COVID break and was quite disappointed upon check-in as I was put into #4021, which definitely doesn’t meet the Swiss Executive King standards in every way. I demanded for a change of room and was switched to #4013 next day… full dropdown window views from both bedroom and bathroom; the Swiss Executive King Room that I’ve always knew! Further disappointment was the closing of Bar51, my favorite hangout every night; and having miss all the old friends like Michael, Shirley and the gang… It’s also a pity that I didn’t get to meet Jimmy at breakfast on this stay, probably due to our different timing.

The hotel is 5 minutes to the subway and offers free shuttle to the Canton Fair! The rooms are large, the beds comfortable, the breakfast and restaurant excellent! The best part of the hotel is the staff Thank you Ella, Ester, Eva and Rose Also thanks to Jimmy!

Room was great. Although a larger fridge and a washing machine would have made it perfect. Very difficult to communicate in English with some staff. The bar on top floor can do with big makeover we entered for five minutes and had to leave from patrons smoking inside.
