As guests of the world, we uphold Swiss sustainability standards wherever we go. Because we build sustainability into our hotels from the bottom up, it’s also included free of charge with every meeting and event. From the locally sourced ingredients on our menus to the behind-the-scenes energy-saving measures, we’ll run your meeting or event as efficiently as we run our hotels.

Our commitment to sustainability has inspired us to obtain the following certifications:

• Investors in People. The standard for people management, this accreditation demonstrates our passion for building long-term relationships with our employees.
• EFQM. We’re constantly pushing the boundaries of creativity and innovation and the European Foundation for Quality Management shares and endorses our success in this mission.
• ISO Standards. More than a label, this certification ensures our properties meet the high standards expected by our international clientele and stakeholders by applying a systematic management approach.
• SQS. The Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems, which helps us build quality hotels from the ground up, is Switzerland’s leading organisation for certification and assessment services. They have supported us on our journey to sustainable management practices. Today, Swissotel’s corporate office and all its hotels worldwide are ISO-certified in Quality Management, Environmental Management, Health & Safety Management, as well as Food Safety.
