A "Danjiri" is a float decorated with gorgeous carvings. The Kishiwada Danjiri Festival has a history going back more than 300 years, whose highlight is “Yarimawashi”, where over 1,000 identically dressed men pull huge four-ton floats pulled by hand as they run headlong through the street.
