ZURICH, January 2011 – Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts has started the new year by launching its own online shop, “Swissôtel at home”. High-quality products can be conveniently ordered online at

, which features a wide selection of ideal gifts for anyone who appreciates exquisite items partly made in Switzerland.
As guests very often spot items they love at the hotels, such as pillows in the rooms, and would like to be able to buy them, the company decided to set up its own online shop. The selection ranges from elegant bed linen, towels and bathrobes of the kind used at all Swissôtels, to accessories handcrafted by the Swiss goldsmith Sebastian Fässler, who has designed silver keyrings, cufflinks and a silver brooch specially for the hotel chain.
The “Swiss Circles” papercut motifs – a design element that forms a common theme throughout all the Swissôtels worldwide – are also featured on many products such as mugs, Sigg drinking bottles, perfumed candles or silk scarves. All items available from “Swissôtel at home” embody the Swissôtel philosophy of authenticity and its Swiss heritage.
