”SWEETDREAM” BY LULUXPO: THE FIRST HOTEL SUITE CUSTOMIZED BY THE FAMOUS COUPLE OF DJ AND ARTISTS
GENEVA, September 2010 – For the first time, the artists and DJ Luluxpo have customized one of the Deluxe Suites at the Hotel Parc des Eaux-Vives in Geneva creating their universe on the motto “Love is power”.
As spending the night in a hotel room is considered a getaway and a necessary change of scenery in the life of any couple, the DJ couple Luluxpo also enjoys discovering new hotels. To create their own universe they have partnered with the management at Parc des Eaux-Vives in Geneva and have transformed one of the elegant suites in the 18th century building into an unexpected fun and entertaining luxury accommodation. Until the end of February 2011 guests will be seduced by the musical and visual world of Luluxpo featuring their paintings, music selection on B & O sound systems and even tailor made cupcakes realized by the local shop Cupcakes & the city (www.cupcakesandthecity.ch).
As the Luluxpo puts it: “The rooms and suites of the Parc des Eaux-Vives meet our expectations when searching for the perfect romantic getaway; located in the middle of the majestic Parc des Eaux-Vives, just outside the city center, they offer utmost comfort and the best views over Lake Geneva.” The rate has also been tailor-made as the suite including breakfast for 2 people can be booked for CHF 550.
Lulú and Pollux met on Valentine’s day, February 14th 1997, in Paris. Since then, they call themselves LuLúxpo (formed from combining Lulú and Pollux), a common creative project maximising the potential of two unique personalities and a message of pertinent simplicity: “Love Is Power!” Known as the most glamorous DJ’s couple, they have been playing in the clubs of the biggest cities around the world such as Zürich, Barcelone, Londres, Tokyo, Buenos-Aires or Beijing and at festivals such as Montreux Jazz Festival. A part from their on radio show “Let’s Dance” on Saturday nights on Radio Couleurs 3 they also launched the “Pink Palace”, a rich and complex visual universe including a mixture of movement, texture and color, which they fill with an extraordinary creative energy drawing its principle inspiration from the neo Pop Art movement of the 70's and 80's as well as street culture.
The Restaurant Hôtel du Parc des Eaux-Vives, owned by the City of Geneva, enjoys a fabulous location in an 18th century building, nestled in a historical park with views across Lake Geneva. The establishment includes a brasserie and four rooms for private dining. Two suites and five guest rooms complete the package of elegant services and make the establishment the smallest five star hotel in Switzerland. Following a thorough renovation in the year 2003, the Restaurant Hôtel du Parc des Eaux-Vives has since been managed by Swissôtel Métropole in Geneva.
