Destination Overview
Known historically as Smyrna, Izmir is the third most populated city of Turkey and the country's largest port after Istanbul. It is located in the Gulf of Izmir, by the Aegean Sea. Numerous landmarks and local attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. Built in 1901, the Clock Tower at Konak Square is the symbol of Izmir. The Hisar Mosque is one of the oldest monuments, built at the end of the 16th century.
In operation since the 17th century, the Kemeralti Bazaar in the Konak district is the best known local shopping market in the city. Historical sites such as: Pergamon, Ephesus, Smyrna, Teos, Foca and areas of interests such as Cesme, Alacati, Urla, Kusadasi are a short drive away from the hotel.
