The landmark of Kurfürstendamm and the centre of City West is the Memorial Church. The boulevard unites tradition and the modern age, reflected in buildings from the 1920s next to modern glass palaces.
The main train station, the Hauptbahnhof, is located only three subway stations away from Swissôtel Berlin. Berlin’s public transportation network is excellent, and as an alternative there are many private taxis.
Located directly opposite the Swissôtel Berlin is the legendary Café Kranzler. Other renowned Berlin attractions nearby include several Berlin art galleries and museums, as well as Europe's largest department store - the KaDeWe.
